QSKing Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 September 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the QSKing Revit plugin (“the App”), published by QSKING (“we”, “us”, “the Publisher”). It explains what data the App collects, how it is used, how it is shared, how long it is kept, and how you can request its deletion.

1. What data the App collects, how, and why

The App collects the minimum data necessary to verify your trial or subscription status, and nothing else:

  • Autodesk Account identifier. When the App runs inside Revit, it reads the Autodesk Account ID of the currently signed-in user (via Revit’s own Application.LoginUserId API) and sends it, together with the App’s identifier, directly to Autodesk’s Entitlement API (https://apps.autodesk.com/webservices/checkentitlement) to check whether you have an active trial or subscription. This request goes directly from your computer to Autodesk — it is never routed through, logged by, or visible to us.
  • Local trial and license status. The App stores a record of when it was first run, keyed to your signed-in Autodesk Account ID, on your own computer, in %AppData%\QTO\. Keying by account (rather than a single bare date) means multiple people sharing the same Windows user profile each get an independent trial period. This data stays on your machine. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party other than the Autodesk entitlement check described above.

The App does not collect, transmit, or store: your Revit model, drawings, families, or any project content; your name, email address, or any other personal information beyond the Autodesk Account ID described above; or usage analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or behavioural data.

If a future version of the App adds analytics, crash reporting, or any other data collection, this policy will be updated accordingly before that version is released, and the update will be reflected both here and in the in-App copy of this policy.

2. Third parties

The only third party involved in the App’s operation is Autodesk, Inc., via the Entitlement API described in Section 1, used solely to verify your trial/subscription status. Autodesk’s handling of that data is governed by Autodesk’s own privacy policy: https://www.autodesk.com/company/legal-notices-trademarks/privacy-statement

We do not share, sell, or otherwise transmit any data to any other third party — no analytics providers, advertising networks, or third-party SDKs are integrated into the App.

3. Data retention and deletion

  • Locally stored data (trial record, keyed by Autodesk Account ID, in %AppData%\QTO\) remains on your computer for as long as the App is installed, or until you delete it manually (see Section 4). We hold no copy of this data ourselves, as it is never transmitted to us.
  • Autodesk Account data used for entitlement checks is retained and managed entirely by Autodesk under its own retention policy, as this data is never stored by us.
  • We do not operate a database, server, or account system that stores any user data, and therefore hold nothing to retain or delete on our end beyond what is described above.

4. How to revoke consent or request deletion

Because no personal data is transmitted to or stored by us, there is no publisher-held data for us to delete on your request. To remove the data the App itself stores locally:

  • Local trial record: delete the %AppData%\QTO\ folder on your computer. Any Autodesk Account not already in that record will be treated as a fresh trial on next launch.
  • Autodesk Account data: since this is held by Autodesk, not us, manage or revoke it directly through your Autodesk Account privacy settings at https://myaccount.autodesk.com, or contact Autodesk support.
  • Uninstalling the App: removes the App’s program files. Note that the %AppData%\QTO\ folder described above is not automatically removed by uninstallation and should be deleted manually if you want it cleared.
